This one is slightly expensive I know, I can feel you flinching, but there’s a reason. This is the BATMOBILE of books, I open it up at a playgroup and it’s like I’m the Pied Piper merrily tootling on my flute, the children come flocking to me in droves. The reason? This book has lights. LIGHTS. Perhaps I have lived a sheltered life but I had never before seen a book that lights up so for me it really has the wow factor, it’s also a very cute little bedtime story about a Daddy Bear and his little cub so perfect to get your little one in the mood for a peaceful night’s sleep.
My highlight: Need you ask? Of course seeing the stars twinkle at me from every beautifully illustrated page.
River’s highlight: “The page with TEN lights is my favourite one in the book. This is Jackson’s favourite book I think.” Jackson is a two year old little buddy with seriously good taste, he looks like he just walked out of a Zara kids commercial and has refined taste when it comes to fruit and vegetables. Well, 90% of the time. 10% of the time he throws his food all over the floor, but that’s an old trick kids use to give us a workout without ditching them to go to the gym right?
